		<description>New Year&#039;s Eve I plan to go out for dinner and drinks with friends in Downtown Fort Worth. New Year&#039;s Day I plan to eat and watch football games at a small get together with friends. As you can see, eating is a BIG part of the plans :)

		<description>This is especially true in Texas because of the probate statutes which will leave a deceased&#039;s personal and community property to the children (not belonging to the survivor) and perhaps parents of the deceased unless there is a will specifying otherwise. The only guarantee that one&#039;s spouse will get &quot;everything&quot; is to have a will (or have no children not belonging to the spouse and/or have no surviving parents or siblings!).

This situation happened recently to friends of mine. Unfortunately, without a valid will, there is nothing the surviving spouse can do about it!</description>
